Residency Special Features:   *NMS Code 189613 - described below; NMS Code 189621 - ambulatory care/transitions of care track. The Sutter Health East Bay Pharmacy Residency Program offers the resident exposure to a variety of practice environments and experiences. During the 12 month program, the resident will gain experience across the continuum of care including, acute, transitional and ambulatory care settings in a large not-for-profit health system. The program offers academic training and a teaching certificate through affiliation with California Northstate University - College of Pharmacy and Touro University - College of Pharmacy. The program's purpose is to provide the resident with the skill sets necessary for a general clinical pharmacist position in a managed care, acute care, or ambulatory care setting. The resident will also be prepared to pursue continued training in a PGY2 residency program or academic setting.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Applications must be submitted via PhORCAS. Academic transcript, curriculum vitae, 3 references writers, US citizenship, graduation from an accredited pharmacy school, eligible to take the licensure exam in California.
