Residency Special Features:   In the Diablo area, we pride ourselves on providing the most comprehensive oncology services to our members. Also, we strive to be on the cutting edge and a pioneer in oncology pharmacy services. There are a total of two licensed oncology outpatient pharmacies with sterile compounding licensure in our service area. In continuous collaboration with others you will find an oncology pharmacy practice that start from the designing, optimizing and following a patient through their entire treatment. The focus is on ambulatory adult oncology care but also inpatient and BMT and pediatric. Also, be involved with extensive research opportunities as well as opportunities to precept both pharmacy students and PGY1 residents.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   •ACPE accredited pharmacy school graduate •Licensed pharmacist or be eligible for licensure in the state of California (must be licensed on start date) •Completion of a Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency training program or equivalent experience. •Excellent verbal and written communications skills •Curriculum vitae •Three (3) letters of recommendation •Letter of interest - please explain why you want to complete a specialty residency in oncology practice and how this would help achieve your career goals and objectives.
