Residency Special Features:   * NMS Code 120213 - traditional PGY1 pharmacy residency;NMS Code 120222 - Non-traditional. The residency program involves rotations designed to meet the desired objectives of the resident as well as meeting the needs of the hospital. Residents are given the opportunity to develop their own schedules from a selection of required and optional rotations. The program is designed to be individualized, supportive and progressive. This residency includes a considerable amount of Physician/Pharmacist/Patient interaction. Rotations offered include administration/leadership, ambulatory care, adult medicine, trauma/critical care, NICU/pediatrics, infectious disease, oncology, geriatrics, medication safety, and emergency medicine. Other opportunities are individualized to meet the resident's desired focus. The program also affords opportunity to mentor pharmacy students with teaching certification.
