Residency Special Features:   Kaiser Permanente Downey PGY1 pharmacy residency program offers unique opportunities through extensive training in various areas of a large managed care setting: acute care, ambulatory care, outpatient pharmacy and administrative management. Dedicated preceptors will train the resident in specialized areas like neonatal intensive care unit, integrated cardiovascular disease care, heart failure management, and adult & pediatric oncology. Completion of this residency program results in marketable skill sets and a strong foundation for any pharmacy profession.
