Residency Special Features:   The PGY1 residency program prepares a motivated, self-directed individual to become a competent and confident practitioner. In order to build and expand professional knowledge and skills, the program is designed to expose the resident to a broad area of pharmacy practice in an acute care environment (internal medicine, critical care, neonatology, transitional care, nutritional support, and more). Additional activities include involvement in educational programs, completion of a research project and participation in hospital committees.
