Residency Special Features:   This 12-month pharmacy practice residency program is designed to provide a broad clinical pharmacy experience including hospital practice, pharmacokinetics, internal medicine, critical care, ambulatory care, pediatrics, infectious diseases, etc. Residents will give presentations, in-services to nursing and medical staff, in addition to leading journal clubs and discussion sessions with students and serving on hospital committees. Each resident will present a poster of the completed required research project at the Western States Conference.

Site Special Features:   RUHS supports 12 ORs, a helipad adjacent to the Trauma Center, and state-of-the-art digital radiology services in addition to adult/pediatric/neonatal intensive care units, a birthing center and a separate psychiatric facility. With training programs for healthcare professionals attending University of California at Riverside, Loma Linda University, Western College of Health Services, University of the Pacific, etc., RUHS manages up to 200,000 patient visits in specialty clinics and 100,000 patient visits in the Emergency Department annually.
