Residency Special Features:   

This program provides advanced practice experience with an underserved population. Rotational opportunities include primary care with emphasis on diabetes, hypertension, asthma and COPD. The resident will achieve professional competence serving as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and developing teaching skills at Touro University and precepting students on clinical rotations. A research project with intent to publish will also be completed. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
