Residency Special Features:   The CSMC PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency program provides the resident with one year of post graduate advanced hospital practice experience. Required rotations include medicine, drug information, central pharmacy and practice management. Elective rotations include primary care, infectious diseases, critical care, transplantation, pediatrics, oncology, operating room and emergency department. The resident will achieve professional competence serving as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and develop teaching skills through in-services to the team and patients as well as pharmacy students and CSMC house staff. The goals is for the resident to develop a commitment to life-long learning and professional practice.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   High motivation, strong professional commitment, willingness to work long hours in pursuit of goals. Pharm.D. required. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
