Residency Special Features:   

Focus on acute care practice with strengths in NICU, PICU, Pediatirc Heme/Onc, Emergency Medicine, Toxicology,Infectious Disease, Cardiology, CT surgery, Pain/Palliative Care, Nephrology and Gastroenterology. UC Davis isaffiliated with the UCSF College of Pharmacy and students will be on rotation frequently offering precepting opportunities.Didactic teaching opportunities with local schools of pharmacy and other healthcare professionals, teaching certificate, opportunities for professional presentations and ability to attend national, state and local meetings will be available.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

PharmD, Eligibility for California Licensure, PhORCAS submission of Pharmacy School transcript, Curriculum vitae,Letter of application, three letters of recommendations (two from residency preceptors), which will include comment on6 of 13 characteristics. Certification of completion of PGY 1 residency program and participation in the matching process.
