Residency Special Features:   

PGY2 Program at UC Irvine is designed to develop in-depth knowledge and skills in clinical laboratory medicine and ID. The resident will work closely with the Adult ID Consult Service and other clinical services to care for patients with or at risk for infections in order to gain proficiency in delivering effective pharmacotherapy to these patient populations at risk. The resident will also learn the principles of antimicrobial stewardship through practice in performing associated clinical activities.
