Residency Special Features:   

The pharmacy residency program gives in-depth experience in broad areas of pharmacy practice, including antimicrobial stewardship, nutritional support, infectious diseases, internal medicine, critical care, anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacy administration. The resident presents formal lectures, in-services, and ASHP/Western States projects. The resident also serves as preceptor for pharmacy students during their clinical rotations. The residency has as its goal in striving to improve the development of future leaders in pharmacy practice.

Pharmacy Resident Candidate will have the opportunity to obtain a Teaching Certificate thru partnership with Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy Loma Services. Areas of focus include but not limited to cardiovascular, surgical, medical, and critical care, infectious diseases, nutritional support, anticoagulation as well as expanding services into ambulatory care.
