Residency Special Features:   

Our EMC residency program focuses on emergency medicine, intensive care medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease, practice management and anticoagulation. In association with our EMC pharmacy staff, staff physicians, medical residents and medical students, our residents will participate in on-going direct patient care. Residents will perform medication use evaluations and present formal lectures including case presentations, to EMC healthcare team members, develop drug monographs, write peer-review ready publication, and travel to ASHP Mid-Year for a poster presentation.

 
Fringe Benefits:   

Residents will receive the same benefits extended to full-time EMC employees plus reimbursement for expenses associated with attending ASHP Mid-Year.

 
Special Requirements for Acceptance:   

US citizenship, Pharm.D., California licensure (within 3 months), academic transcripts, curriculum vitae, four letters of recommendation, one written Pharmacy paper.
