Residency Special Features:   Pharmacy practice residency providing a broad range of experience opportunities in addition to the core rotations of cardiovascular risk management (PHASE), drug use management and administration, and internal medicine, such as anticoagulation, diabetes care, infectious disease, oncology, chronic pain management, congestive heart failure, chemical dependence/psychiatry, transitional Care, intensive care unit, nephrology, home health, hospice, and drug information, pharmacy quality medication and patient safety. Special opportunities include working with skilled practitioners across a variety of practice sites, on multidisciplinary teams across the full continuum of care in an HMO setting. Affiliated with the University of the Pacific, University of California San Francisco, and Touro University. responsibilities include serving as preceptor for pharmacy students.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:   Qualifications: Graduate from an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy. Current California Intern License must be obtained before the start of residency and in addition must obtain California pharmacist licensure by October 31, 2019.
