Residency Special Features:   The PGY-1 pharmacy residency is a 12-month program with a specific focus on expanding clinical services in a rural setting. Required rotations are split between the rural island of Kaua‘i and metropolitan O‘ahu with available electives on Hawai‘i Island. Upon completion of the program the pharmacy resident will be prepared to practice with confidence and competence in a variety of practice settings particularly acute care and academia.
