Residency Special Features:   Emphasis of this PGY1 residency program will be placed on ambulatory care pharmacy, where residents will be trained to manage patients for chronic disease outcomes as independent practitioners. Residents will be integral to multiple pharmacy services throughout the duration of their residency. This program is affiliated with the WSU College of Pharmacy, allowing for experience in didactic teaching, experiential learning, and provision of a teaching certificate upon successful completion of requirements.

The Mann-Grandstaff VAMC has 2 additional community based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in Wenatchee, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This residency program will provide a variety of focus areas, and opportunities for experience in inpatient care, ambulatory care, home-based primary care, internal medicine, and other specialties. This residency program is affiliated with the WSU College of Pharmacy, where teaching opportunities and collaboration for research experience will be provided through the course of the residency.
