Residency Special Features:   

A PGY2 health-system pharmacy administration residency designed to provide specialized training in a variety of key areas with the goal of equipping future leaders with the skills needed to successfully assume positions with managerial, supervisory, and leadership responsibilities. Through a combination of focused and longitudinal rotations, residents will be trained and encouraged to critically evaluate processes, apply management concepts, and take ownership in designing, implementing, and enhancing pharmacy services. Areas of focus include inpatient operations and technology, retail/ambulatory operations, pharmacy clinical supervision, finance, purchasing and reimbursement, medication safety, and quality and regulatory oversight.
