Residency Special Features:   Experience will be provided in ambulatory care, general medicine, cardiology, critical care, infectious disease, oncology, pediatrics, transplantation, family medicine and clinical pharmacy administration. Residents will interact with medical residents through family practice rounds/clinic. Paid attendance to regional/national meetings. Quarterly teaching at the UW School of Pharmacy Therapeutics Laboratory. Precept pharmacy interns/students. Unique “Jump Start” program allows the resident to start training and work on projects before the start of the program. Full prescriptive authority in select antibiotics, anticoagulants, TPN, renal dosing, anemia. Self-selected longitudinal resident project.
