Residency Special Features:   

Our program features rotations in 4 acute care hospitals and ambulatory clinics. The program's modules allow for emphasis based on each resident's interests, Acute care rotations: internal medicine, ED, critical care, NICU, pediatrics, infectious disease and oncology. Ambulatory Care: pharmacist-managed ambulatory anticoagulation clinic, primary care clinics, and heart failure clinics. Administration rotations: formulary management, strategic planning, drug-use evaluation, newsletter, staff development, etc. One-on-one preceptorship from administrative and clinical pharmacists in patient care areas. A research project is required for completion of the program. Program prepares residents for practicing pharmaceutical care in a variety of settings.
