Special Program Features:
The Pharmacy Technician Training Program consists of ten courses which include: 2 Pre-requisite courses, 7 Pharmacy Technician core clinical courses, and 1 Experiential training course. Throughout a student’s active participation and attendance they will become familiar through; live hands-on skill development, computer experience, and lecture discussions, the requirements necessary to become eligible to gain registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy and prepare for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). After successful completion of the Program the Career Services department is available to the student for placement assistance.
Acceptance Requirements:
A High-School diploma or GED as well as an entrance exam, and a scheduled interview completed by the Admissions team and the Program Chair are requirements for acceptance into the Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

Special Requirements:
Drug testing, TB skin tests, proof of immunizations, certification of completion in OSHA & HIPAA and background checks are the special requirements for the training sites.
